Today we visit the city of Portimão, Portugal and their incredible Portimão Arena!
History:
Located in the Parque de Feiras e Exposições de Portimão, a stone's throw from the city centre, the Portimão Arena is a modern pavilion, with avant-garde architecture, which thanks to its enormous versatility, the total modularity of the space and its more than 6,000m2 of area allows a use exactly tailored to the needs of each event. The space is dominated by Sala Algarve, the main arena of the pavilion, capable of hosting 3,000 spectators seated in retractable and removable benches, or up to 8,000 spectators standing. Its modular structure allows it to be divided into three rooms which, separated by acoustic curtains, can host events simultaneously. The technical floor, equipped with water, energy, sewage and telecommunications points modularly distributed in 3x3 meter spaces, also allows the creation of a wide range of configurations.
The Business Center with 7 rooms with a total capacity for 340 people, an auditorium for 174 people equipped with translation booths, 2 receptions, 4 changing rooms/changing rooms, a medical station, 5 technical support offices, a cafeteria with an outdoor terrace and interior, kitchen and pantry to support banquets. Outside, 10,000 m2 of open-air area also allow fairs, exhibitions, shows or whatever your needs and imagination dictate. Whatever the event or action, the Portimão Arena has a team of competent professionals, experienced technicians, and can use the most advanced technologies, allowing quick and simple access to a wide range of complementary and support services.
