Aveiro, Portugal (2021)

After visiting Porto we drove to Aveiro. On our way to Nazare we've made a couple of stops. One of them was Aveiro. Aveiro is a small fisherman's town. Famous for it's "Venetian-style" boats and Ovos Molos. A egg-snack with lots of sugar. I rather have a Pastel de Nata, because I'm not a big fan of Ovos Molos. The roads are pretty good in Portugal, in less than an hour drive we arrived. To be honest, we expected a bit more of the Aveiro boats. They look pretty and colorful, but are completely packed with tourists. One good thing about Aveiro is the free bike rental (Buga) in the city. In my opinion a better way to explore the city than by boat. Another reason why we wanted to visit Aveiro is because of Costa Nova. This beach is nearby and is very pretty. Costa Nova is famous for its colorful striped houses. They look really beautiful, and are definitely worth a visit. Check out my drone video and let me know in the comments what you think of Aveiro!
