Choosing an Apartment in Lisbon Portugal

Here are some things we found useful when looking for a place to live in Lisbon.
What are your must haves?
For us, it was the following:
Must be in the City Center - Why? Because we did not want a car, and wanted to make use of the excellent public transportation along with our feet.
Must have 2 bedrooms - Why? We wanted a second room as an office or for guests.
Must have a terrace or balcony - Why? We wanted to be able to sit out front or in back of our apartment and take advantage of the weather in Portugal.

Things we did not worry about
Did not need an elevator. We are young enough that an elevator was not a priority.
Did not need a big space. We have a typical apartment in Portugal, which is roughly 700 square feet.
