The popular spots are Cascais and Sintra, Portugal as well as the Pena Palace. All are the places every first time visitor to Lisbon MUST visit. That's exactly what we did. PLUS, we take a shot of the local liqeur, Ginja, and met some friends we didn't know we had!

???? Day trip from Lisbon to Sintra, Portugal
Kelly thought she booked us a private tour by van, but the day before realized she accidentally booked a group tour by van. She wasn't happy about the mix up, but we had a great experience anyway. for a It wasn't the tour Kelly thought she had booked, but we had a great experience anyway. We went from Lisbon to our final destination, Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal. In the video we cover how we got to the van.

Our tour guide is Portuguese. He had a wealth of knowledge and a passion for learning.

???? Stop 1: Took us north along the Portuguese coast
This was a good time to stretch our legs and take in views of the Atlantic Ocean

???? Stop 2: Cascais
Had we been on the private tour we would have spent a lot more time here because the 45 minutes we were allotted was not enough time. It's ok. God willing, we will return.

???? Stop 3: Sintra
Most of our time in Sintra was taken up by lunch. There were sections we did not get to, but while there we were sure to try local liqeur Ginja.

???? Stop 3: Pena Palace
Using our funds, our tour guide took care of purchasing our tickets to the Pena Palace. Wow, talking about amazing!!
